Встречается в большей части Карибского бассейна, от Кубы и Багамских островов на западе, через Антильские острова до Барбадоса на востоке. Найдены в Никарагуа, Соединенных Штатах Америки (штате Флорида). Локальные популяции популяции существуют на Кюрасао, на островах Swan (Гондурас), Half Moon Caye (Белиз) и на архипелаге Сан-Андрес, Провиденсия и Санта-Каталина у колумбийского побережья.
